Curt Williams:
Executive Director
Curt Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of Youth-Reach, Inc. His wife Shelley is the licensed Child Care Administrator for Youth-Reach Houston and together they have seven kids.
Curt is originally from Mobile, Alabama. He was raised in a balanced and loving Christian home. He graduated from Central Baptist School in 1978 and for two years attended Southwest State there in Mobile. In 1980 Curt moved to Houston to work for H.B. Zachry Construction. Far from the Lord and far from home Curt allowed his life to slip into a cycle of drug use, debauchery, and sin. For several years his life was marred by a love of money, the nightlife of the big city, and poor choices. After encountering a group of Christians who demonstrated the love of Christ to him in a tangible way he began to struggle with conviction and sought to find peace through his own means. This led to even more failures, and finally in May of 1984 he surrendered his life to the Lord.

Wes Reynolds:
Director

I am from Houston, Texas and I serve as the Director for Youth-Reach Houston. I have a bachelor of arts from Houston Baptist University with double majors in Music and Christianity. I have been involved in some aspect of ministry since 1993. In 1995 I met and married my wife Hannah and we now have three children.
I have served in various ministry roles from youth pastor, worship leader, and counselor. I began working for Youth-Reach Houston in September of 1996 and served here as a counselor until October 1998. After working as an IT professional for several years I returned to Youth-Reach Houston in July 2001 to work as the Operations coordinator, a position I held for two and a half years. In January 2004 I entered the role of Administrator for Youth-Reach Houston, where I oversaw all of the business aspects of Youth-Reach and served also as their graphic artist. In February of 2008 I became the Director of Youth-Reach Houston, the position I now hold.

Billy Jarrell:
Administrator

In 1997 God called me to work with a missionary organization called “Youth With A Mission” (YWAM). I worked in many areas of service, but the ones I enjoyed most were leading outreaches, discipling small groups, and playing on the worship team. God took me to many countries during this time and I met some wonderful people.
Then, in 2002, I joined a Christian development organization where I served seven months in Africa and almost a year in Central Asia, reaching Muslims. Mostly, I was responsible for research, staff training, and designing projects for our community development work with women and children.
In 2004, I returned to the U.S. for further training and education in this field. I started by taking grant writing courses and continue to purse project design and management. In 2005 as I was praying about what I should be doing next, God led me to Youth-Reach Houston. I have known some of these guys for many years. As we prayed, we felt this was God’s will. I presently serve as the Administrator.

Kris Garcia:
Executive Secretary

I started attending Mighty Wind Worship Center in Waco, Texas in early 1995 and met Jimmy Garcia in November of that year, and we married on the 1st of June the following year. That was the beginning of ministry for me.
Before meeting Jimmy, I was busy raising two young sons and putting myself through secretarial school at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. After completing my education I worked for Brazos Valley Health Network for six years as a data entry clerk for the PPO network. In 1999 I enrolled in the Dental Assistant program at Texas State Technical College and completed the program in 2000. For the next three years I worked as a Dental Assistant/Office Manager for Dr. Gerry Whisler in Waco Texas.
On June 1, 2004 I joined Jimmy at Youth-Reach Houston and since that time I have served in the offices of Youth-Reach Houston. My duties include performing the initial interview for new applicants to the program and overseeing our databases and direct mail systems.

Jimmy Garcia:
Operations Coordinator
Jimmy came to Youth-Reach Houston in July 2003 as a volunteer, commuting back and from Waco, Texas. Before the end of 2003 Jimmy was working a full scheduled shift and started as full time staff on January 1, 2004.
Jimmy started in ministry in January of 1991 and has served as a youth leader and pastor for high school and college ministries in California and in Waco, Texas. In 1996 Jimmy was a key contact person in Central Texas for Promise Keepers where he worked closely with several churches and ministries to develop men’s ministries and discipleship programs
Jimmy is also married to Kris Garcia.

Kevin Belyeu:
School Administrator/
Counselor

I’m originally from Gadsden, Alabama and I began to serve in ministry in July 1995 as a youth leader for Calvary Temple in Ohatchee, Alabama, so from the beginning there was a call to minister to this lost and hurting generation.  After a few years, I felt the Lord leading me to pursue a deeper more intimate relationship with the Him.
Soon after, I felt the call to go to Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, Florida.   While there, my relationship with God as Father became more apparent in my life.  After graduation, I moved to Houston, Texas to start an internship at Willowbrook Assembly of God.  There I learned the value of servant hood and how it plays a critical part in ministry.
After the internship was over, I began to pray for what God had in line for me next.  I knew I was not called to work in the church, but that I felt an urge to minister to lost and hurting young men that have never experienced God as their Father.  A couple of years later the door opened up for me to come on board here at Youth-Reach Houston.
Here I have the opportunity to work with troubled young men, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and to teach them about the Father heart of God.  It is an honor to have the privilege to touch these young men’s lives every day in both counseling and in the educational setting.

TJ Martin:
Counselor
In December of 2003, my life as a punk kid and drug addict came crashing down. I was faced with the reality of the existence of God. Soon after, I sought help to leave this lifestyle by means of a program called Youth-Reach Houston. Youth-Reach became my home and the staff and residents my family. From graduating high school to attending college, Youth-Reach has always been a place of opportunity for me. In 2006, I left for Kansas City where I attended the Forerunner School of Ministry and for the next two years indulged in the studies of the scripture and the practice of prayer. Now, I have returned to Youth-Reach Houston to take hold of yet another opportunity; to give to others what has been given to me. I've been on staff since August of 2008 and am grateful for the privilege to see troubled young men get the "fresh chance" that Youth-Reach has to offer.
