Curt Williams:
Executive Director
Curt Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of Youth-Reach, Inc. His wife Shelley is the licensed Child Care Administrator for Youth-Reach Houston and together they have seven kids.
Curt is originally from Mobile, Alabama. He was raised in a balanced and loving Christian home. He graduated from Central Baptist School in 1978 and for two years attended Southwest State there in Mobile. In 1980 Curt moved to Houston to work for H.B. Zachry Construction. Far from the Lord and far from home Curt allowed his life to slip into a cycle of drug use, debauchery, and sin. For several years his life was marred by a love of money, the nightlife of the big city, and poor choices. After encountering a group of Christians who demonstrated the love of Christ to him in a tangible way he began to struggle with conviction and sought to find peace through his own means. This led to even more failures, and finally in May of 1984 he surrendered his life to the Lord.

Derrall Mayfield:
Director
I have been in full-time ministry since January of 1992. I began as a counselor at Youth-Reach Houston. I later became the Residential Coordinator, which oversaw the daily operation of the boys program.
In the fall of 1993 I moved to Des Moines, Iowa and became a staff Counselor/Maintenance Supervisor with Teen Challenge of the Midlands. I became a facilitator for Turning Point support groups and led them at Teen Challenge and in the juvenile detention center outside of Des Moines. I also became a facilitator for Christ Life Solutions (a small group counseling program and curriculum) and led groups in Teen Challenge and in local churches in Des Moines.
In 1997, I became the Director of Youth-Reach Tennessee and my wife and I began ministering to troubled teenage girls. My passion and hearts desire is to help young people overcome life controlling problems. I believe these are only overcome through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In 2003 we moved back to Houston to join the Youth-Reach Houston team and minister to troubled young men. I am currently serving as the Operations Coordinator and oversee the daily operations of the home along with counseling.
In 2008 I became the director of Youth-Reach Gulf Coast in Summerdale, Alabama. After ministering to young people in many other states, it is very nice to move back close to family and serve the people in the area where I was raised.
I have been happily married to my wife Kelli for fifteen years and have three beautiful daughters, Annie, Alli and Emilee.

Kelli Mayfield:
Food Services Coordinator
I have been in full-time ministry since April of 1990.  I began as a counselor for troubled women at Teen Challenge of Mississippi.  Before resigning a year later, I was promoted to director of the women’s center.  At that time I took a position on staff at Teen Challenge of the Midlands in Iowa.  I worked as a ladies counselor there until September of 1992.
I then took a position in the administrative office of Youth-Reach Houston in order to join my fiancée who was employed by Youth-Reach Houston.  I served at Youth-Reach Houston until the fall of 1993.
I then became a staff counselor once again at Teen Challenge of the Midlands where I later became the women’s program director.  In 1997, my husband and I moved to Tennessee to become the directors of Youth-Reach Tennessee where we ministered to trouble teenage girls.
I served there until May of 2003.  At that time I relocated to Youth-Reach Houston where I’ve served in the administrative offices and now as the Food Services Coordinator.  This position places me in daily contact with the troubled young men who come to Youth-Reach.
In 2008 we moved to Summerdale, Alabama, where my husband now serves as director of Youth-Reach Gulf Coast. I serve as his administrative assistant. Both Derrall and I grew up on the Gulf Coast and are serving close to family for the first time in our ministry career.
I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband Derrall, for 15 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters Annie, Alli and Emilee.

Trevor Blake:
Food Services Coordinator
I’m originally from Panama City, Florida. I have been happily married for 6 years and I have 4 children; Ethan 9, Maleah 4, Gavin 2, and Deya 1. I’ve been having dreams since I was a small child that I would one day be in some type of ministry. I was raised in the church and knew all about Jesus and who He was/is. My dad died when I was 11 and it didn't take long before I was a statistic and heavily involved in drugs and alcohol. Eventually, I quit school and had to get my GED. I joined the army when I was 18 but had to get out after less than a year because of a knee injury.  I then went to culinary school and moved to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue a restaurant career. I was hired by Chili's as a manager and transferred to Mobile, Alabama. I met Sorcha there and we were married in less than a year. It was during this time that the LORD really began to tug on my heart and really draw me into himself. I was at war with my flesh. I wanted to serve GOD but the pull of money and job security seemed good also. God won. In April of 2004 I resigned my career and went back to waiting tables so I could intern with Youth-Reach Gulf Coast. Sorcha was pregnant with our 2nd child and it was a major leap of faith for us. I worked with YRGC for 2 and a half years before moving to Houston for 17 months for training and preparation for the position of Operations Coordinator, which I now hold at Youth-Reach Gulf Coast.
